Keep the memories

Wedding guest photo album: your night through your guests' eyes

A wedding guest photo album on Dawati is one place where everyone who came can add their photos: guests open a link on their phone and upload, with no app and no account. Your photographer covers the ceremony; your guests catch what only they saw, from grandma's laugh to the little ones' excitement. Photos are kept for 14 days, then permanently deleted.

What is a wedding guest photo album?

After every celebration it's the same story: lovely photos scattered across dozens of guests' phones. A few reach you through group chats; most never do. The Dawati album pulls those shots together in one place that belongs to your event.

It doesn't replace your photographer, it complements them. The photographer takes the formal moments; guests capture the gathering as they lived it, from spots where no professional camera ever stands.

How guests upload their photos

Share the album link with your guests. Each of them opens it on their phone and picks the photos they want to add. Nothing to download, no account, no steps that would confuse an older relative.

  • Share the album link at the end of the night or after the event.
  • Guests open it on their phone and upload straight away.
  • Every photo lands in your event's album.
  • Each album has 1 GB of space.

Privacy built in: 14 days, then gone for good

Event photos are full of faces, families and children, so the album is temporary by design. Photos are kept for 14 days and then permanently deleted, with no way back. Your photos are your memories, not our archive.

Treat those 14 days as a firm deadline from day one; once they're up, nothing can be recovered.

Across Dawati, only the contacts you pick are ever uploaded, guests can't see one another on the invite list, and the list belongs to you, in line with Saudi Arabia's PDPL.

When an album makes sense

The album suits occasions where photos are welcome: a graduation party, an aqiqah, an Eid gathering, the men's side of a wedding, or any celebration whose memories you'd like to collect from the people who were there. If your family has its own rules about photography, you decide who receives the link.

Tips for a well-filled album

The fullest albums are the ones whose link goes out while the excitement is still fresh. Don't wait a week for things to calm down; by then the photos are buried in everyone's camera roll.

  • Send the link the same night or the next morning.
  • Ask an enthusiastic cousin to nudge the friends' and family group chats.
  • Mention the upload deadline; photos are kept 14 days then permanently deleted, and a clear date gets people uploading.
  • Suggest guests upload their best shots rather than their whole camera roll, so the favourites are easy to find.

Wording for sharing the album link
