Graduation

Graduation party invitations the whole family will open

Graduation party invitations on Dawati take the busywork out of the celebration: design the card for free, send it to each guest in a private WhatsApp chat, and let them accept or decline with one tap. Years of late-night studying deserve a party that runs smoothly from the very first message. You'll know the headcount before you order the food, remind everyone before the day, and gather the night's photos in a single album.

Graduation party invitations instead of a group-chat post

Most graduation parties are family affairs: a gathering at home, a rented istiraha or a small hall, with parents, relatives and the graduate's friends. The usual problem is that the invite gets dropped into the family group, buried under congratulations and stickers, and nobody really knows who is coming.

With Dawati, every guest receives the card individually with Accept and Decline buttons. Next to each name you see where things stand: delivered, read, accepted or declined. So you know the real numbers before you call the bakery or book the catering.

  • Guests need no app and no account; they open the message and tap a button.
  • You decide whether companions are allowed and the maximum per guest.
  • Guest replies and congratulations land in your inbox inside the app.
  • Add a sibling as a co-host to help you manage the guest list.

Setting up the card, step by step

Start from a ready-made editable template. Most of our designs were made for weddings, but the simpler ones turn into a graduation card once you change the text and colors. If you'd like something built around the graduate's name and university colors, our custom-design service delivers two designs within three business days, with two revision rounds.

  • Add the graduate's name, major and university, then the date and venue; the Hijri date can sit next to the Gregorian one.
  • Choose Arabic, English or both, which helps when classmates of other nationalities are on the list.
  • If men and women celebrate separately, write each party's place and time clearly on the card, since every guest sees the same details.
  • Upload only the numbers you choose, and no guest can see anyone else's.
  • Design is free and you pay once when you send. Change your mind before the first invitation goes out and you get a full refund.

Ready-to-send graduation invitation wording

Copy the wording that fits, swap in your names and details, and use it as the text on your card. On Pro and Max you can also add a custom message that travels with the invitation.

When to send, and when to remind

Graduation season is short and crowded, and many families celebrate in the same few weeks. Send the invitation ten days to two weeks ahead so guests block the date before their calendars fill up with other parties.

A day or two before the party, send a reminder, choosing the text from Dawati's library of ready wordings. It pushes your invitation back to the top of the chat and nudges anyone who read it but forgot to reply. After the party, the same library has thank-you messages for everyone who shared the moment.

A photo album that keeps the memories

At every graduation party, photos end up scattered across dozens of phones and only a handful ever reach you. The guest photo album fixes that: each guest opens a link and uploads straight from their phone, no app or login, so the gown, the cap toss and the cake all end up in one place.

The album holds 1 GB and stays available for 14 days before it's permanently deleted, so download your favorites within that window. It's a flat 150 SAR add-on, or included in the Max package.

Which package fits your graduation party?

No subscription and no monthly fee: you pay once per event, priced by guest count from 50 to 500.

  • Standard, 69 to 299 SAR: WhatsApp invitations with live RSVP, enough for most family parties.
  • Pro, 149 to 699 SAR: adds QR entry passes, door check-in and a custom message, handy for parties in a hall.
  • Max, 229 to 849 SAR: adds the guest photo album.
  • Buying inside the iPhone app costs about 15% more because payment goes through Apple.

Frequently asked questions

Do guests need to download an app to RSVP?

No. The graduation invite arrives as a WhatsApp message and guests tap Accept or Decline right there, which makes it easy for grandparents and older relatives.

Some relatives don't use WhatsApp. How do I invite them?

Every guest has a personal invitation link. Copy it and send it however suits them; they open it and reply just like everyone else.

Are there templates made for graduations?

Most ready-made templates have a wedding feel, but they're editable, and the simpler ones work well for a graduation once you change the text and colors. For a card in the graduate's own style, order the custom-design service.

How long do the party photos stay in the album?

Fourteen days, after which they're permanently deleted from our servers, so save the graduation shots you care about before then.

Is there a monthly subscription?

No. Designing the graduation card is free, and you pay a single amount when you send the invitations, based on how many guests you're inviting.

What if the party is postponed after I've paid?

As long as the first invitation hasn't been sent, you can get a full refund at any time.
